100th Day Fun!

We had a blast on the 100th Day! It was exciting and exhausting! We did writing about when we are 100 years old, we shared our 100th day projects, we counted to 100 by 10s and so much more! Here are some pictures from the day (including some of Grandma Assell and Grandma Maxson :)

 Wow, those grannies were tired at the end of the day! They fell asleep reading 100th day books!! ;-)

Decade Day!

We had so much fun dressing up for Decade Day. It was great to see the creative costumes and the kids had fun being in funky outfits!

Loaves and Fish

We read a Religion story about Loaves and Fish. This story is also known as the "miracle of the five loaves and two fish" given that the Gospel of John reports that five small barley loaves and two small fish supplied by a boy were used by Jesus to feed a multitude. We talked about what the story means and why it is important and then we had our own little snack of "loaves" and "fish" (croutons and goldfish).

Community Thank You!

We made some yummy Rice Crispy treats for Fletcher Allen and some Thank You cards for our community assembly during Catholic Schools Week. We made them heart shaped and put a lot of love into making them!

Ooommmmmmm

We tried out a little bit of yoga today! We needed a little "body break" so we found a yoga for kids video online and tried it out. They were such cute little yogis!
